Founded in 1957 Gospel Singers of America is located on the beautiful white, sandy beaches of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Ships and fishing boats can be seen from the campus overlooking the Gulf. A serene environment provides the perfect place to study music.

Videt R. Polk (1918-2002) and Bobby J. Burnett (1932-2008) birthed a dream in 1957. That dream was the founding of Gospel Singers of America. It began and continues at its present location on Scenic Drive in Pass Christian, Mississippi. Their dream was to have a place where people of all ages could learn gospel music. They wanted to have a place where people could learn how to better serve the Lord and use their talents to honor Him.

Today, we are still here carrying on the dream that they gave us fifty-one years ago. Our prayer today is that people of all ages and all walks of life will come study, learn and serve. We pray that the students will be better equipped to serve in their place of service. To God be the glory for fifty one years! May He continue to bless Gospel Singers of America.
